I have had the tremendous pleasure of photographing West Kootenay weddings & love stories for over a decade. I originate from Vancouver, BC, but relocated & settled in Trail, BC in 2013. Since then I have been falling in love with the people and the landscape, and working with the raddest clients.
I am known for my editorial style, which has just a touch of grit and moody romance (ok, and maaaybe my outgoing take-charge personality, too) I have a passion for details, landscapes, and those in-between, unposed moments. Oh, and if you were wondering, I am proudly 100% LGBTQ+ friendly!

15 years (and counting) in the industry means that I've photographed 200+ weddings. If anyone is going to be able to anticipate & be ready for key photographic moments on your big day, its me & my team.
I have refined my editing process so well that most clients have their completed wedding gallery before the 3-4 weeks that my contract guarantees (just so you know, industry standard is 8-12 weeks).
I respond to emails promptly and have extremely good communication skills. I will not leave you hanging!
I am well connected in the local West Kootenay wedding vendor community and can liaise on your behalf when needed & appropriate and offer great local advice.
I am creative and passionate and not afraid to look like a wild person in my pursuit of creating something awesome.

Sit back and relax! This package covers it all with time to spare. Recommended for those who have big weddings (150+ guests &/or XL wedding parties), who want 2+ hours of portraits, &/or have some driving between photo locations.
10 hours typically covers plenty of getting photos, right on through to the first hour or two of your friends and family getting rowdy on the the dance floor.

Ceremony and portraits are the most important to you, but you'd like a little bit of getting ready and reception coverage as well to help tell the story of the entire day.
You have a small- mid sized wedding party, and a guestlist of no more than 150.
Your getting ready, ceremony, and reception locations are close to each other, or even all in the same place.
My most commonly booked package! 8 hours is generally the perfect amount of time for getting ready, the ceremony, formal portraits, reception, and the first few songs on the dance floor.

6 hours can comfortably cover the ceremony, portraits, and the first bit of the reception. Perfect for intimate West Kootenay weddings & elopements w/ small wedding parties, and 50 guests or less.

Coverage of your intimate ceremony and portraits afterwards is all you need.
Planning on running off to the mountains with your beloved and saying 'I do'? Or perhaps you're planning the most intimate-of-initmate micro weddings with only your very nearest and dearest in attendance?
Let's make some magic! This package includes your first 2 hours of coverage, with additional hours available for purchase if needed.
Not available for Saturday dates during peak wedding season (May-October). *an exception can be made for remaining 2024 dates

Travel up to 40km from Trail is included in each booking. Additional kms are billed at $1 per km. Accommodation costs will be billed for locations 125+km from Trail, BC, or at photographer's discretion.

Frequently Asked Questions
Engagement sessions are offered complimentary with Packages I & II simply because I think it is enormously advantageous for us to work together and get to know each other, before the biggest and most important day of your life. As such, there is no 'trade in' value (via discount, or additional wedding day coverage) if you choose not to do (or simply are unable to do) your engagement session.
Retainers are considered non-refundable, However! If you find yourselves needing to change the date of your wedding, I am happy to offer clients the option of a one-time 'date transfer'. For a fee of $300+gst, clients can transfer their booking & paid deposit over to a new date. Transfers must be done with a minimum 3 months notice, and the new date must be within 12 months of the original booking. They will also be subject to whatever our wedding rates are at the time of the new booking.
